Búcsú a palesztin nagykövettől

Tegnap búcsúebéden köszönt el Ócsa Város polgármestere Dr. Fadi Elhusseinitől, a Palesztin Állam magyarországi nagykövetétől, akinek ötéves magyarországi diplomáciai megbízatása lezárult.

A búcsúebéden jelen volt Dr. Nedal Abu Al-Huda palesztin származású ócsai lakos is, aki tolmácsként segítette a beszélgetést.

Dr. Fadi Elhusseini 2025. november 8-án látogatott el Ócsára, ahol a Palesztin Állam Magyarországi Nagykövetsége szervezésében „Palesztina a jelen és a múlt között: történelem, örökség és remény” címmel tartott előadást az Egressy Gábor Szabadidőközpontban. A rendezvény lehetőséget biztosított arra, hogy a résztvevők közelebbről megismerjék Palesztina történelmét, kulturális örökségét és jelenkori helyzetét.

Dr. Fadi Elhusseini magyarországi diplomáciai szolgálatát követően Madridban folytatja munkáját. Ócsa Város vezetése ezúton is megköszöni az eddigi együttműködést és sok sikert, valamint eredményes munkát kíván számára új diplomáciai megbízatásához Spanyolországban.

Yesterday, the Mayor of Ócsa hosted a farewell lunch for Dr. Fadi Elhussein, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Hungary, whose five-year diplomatic assignment in Hungary has come to an end.

Dr. Nedal Abu Al-Huda - a resident of Ócsa of Palestinian origin - was also present at the farewell lunch and he served as an interpreter during the conversation.

Dr. Fadi Elhusseini visited Ócsa on 8th November 2025, where he gave a lecture titled “Palestine Between the Present and the Past: History, Heritage, and Hope” at the „Egressy Gábor Szabadidőközpont”, organized by the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Hungary. The event provided participants with an opportunity to learn more about Palestine’s history, cultural heritage, and current situation.

Following his diplomatic service in Hungary, Dr. Fadi Elhusseini will continue his work in Madrid. The leadership of the City of Ócsa would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his cooperation and to wish him success in his new diplomatic assignment in Spain.
